Splash!

 

Continuing on with yesterday's images, not all of them were close up shots. I was also having fun watching the kingfishers diving into the water to catch their dinner.

The splashes happen so fast that you don't even know if you have captured the shot until you review the images.

I got lucky more than a few times and am really happy with the results. If it was easy it wouldn't be as much fun or as much of a challenge!

I did head back out there today but there wasn't a lot happening - the tide was doing something strange and I think the birds were a bit put off by it. I have a few images that I will post from today's shoot once I have processed them.
